HOW IT WORKS: The wheels of the amphibious vehicle are rotated by the motor, which converts the electrical energy from the battery into motion. There are two sets of axles in the motor housing that reduce the rotational speed between the motor and the wheels and increase the torque of the motor. The first set of axles is the worm shaft and the central gear wheel. A complete turn of the worm shaft pushes the gear around by one tooth. The small shaft reduces the rotational speed between the central wheel and the axle. When the amphibious vehicle is in the water, the bottles act as floats instead of wheels.
