HOW IT WORKS: When sunlight hits the solar panel, the solar cells in the panel convert some of the light energy into electricity. The electric current flows from the cells to the motor, setting it in motion. When the switch is moved to the 'battery' position, the electric current from the battery will pass to the motor.
