Mathou lives in Piyom, just outside Paris, with her family. She walks home from school every day, and one day she notices many shoes outside the city's mosque. Mathou creates her own new game, trying a different pair every day. Through this experimentation, she will learn and begin to feel what it is like to step into someone else's shoes, sometimes even their place.
