HOW IT WORKS: The gearbox and mechanism you built convert electrical energy into kinetic energy. In this case, the current comes from batteries that always have a positive and a negative pole. The positive pole has fewer electrons, while the negative has more. When the positive and negative poles are connected by activating the "ON" switch, the electrons move quickly, generating the electric current. The circular joint at the top of the snail's front body uses this energy to move like a real snail!
